Sales Engineer

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth by providing technical expertise and support to our clients, specifically in the industrial water heating and boiler sector. This role combines outside sales with in-depth product knowledge to deliver solutions that meet customer needs and exceed their expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the industrial water heating and boiler markets.
  • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to clients and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to customize solutions that fit client specifications and requirements.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare and deliver technical proposals and quotes in response to client inquiries.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor products to effectively position our offerings in the market.
  • Attend industry conferences and trade shows to promote products and network with potential customers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in outside sales, preferably in the technical or industrial sector.
  • Strong understanding of ASME standards and specifications related to water heaters and boilers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and technical teams.
  • Ability to analyze complex technical information and convey it in an understandable manner to customers.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and goals.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients and conduct presentations.
