CTR Group is seeking an Application Engineer - Excitation Systems. This position can be based from a home office anywhere in the US except California. It requires up to 50% travel throughout the US and Canada.

Pay Range: $100K - $120K with excellent benefits.

Base Salary plus Bonus

SUMMARY:

The Application Engineer will be responsible for sales of projects involving electrical power industry products within the US and Canada. The role includes supporting customers and excitation projects in the assigned region, and building and maintaining relationships with clients in the utility and power industries.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• 3+ years of technical sales experience
• Experience with 3-phase power related to the power market is required
• Knowledge of the electrical power industry is a plus
• Experience with excitation projects or rotating equipment is strongly preferred
• Experience with static frequency converters is a plus
• Experience with capital or custom projects with long sales cycles is advantageous
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
