Job summary

Bearing Corporation of America in Indiana is seeking an OEM Sales Engineer for the Indiana territory. You will develop and manage relationships with OEMs and provide technical sales support to customers, helping NTN bearings become preferred solutions.

The ideal candidate has a BS degree in a technical field, 3+ years in industrial OEM sales, and the ability to travel up to 40% while maintaining a home-office workflow. NTN offers a comprehensive benefits package and growth opportunities.

• 3+ years of industrial sales experience with OEMs.
• Large OEM program/project management experience.
• Self-starter with ability to contribute quickly.
• Excellent time management to work from a home office.

Responsibilities

• Develop new OEM customer bearing specifications to assure NTN is preferred supplier.
• Drive new and ongoing development projects that will lead to profitable growth.
• Understand the factors that drive the business and accurately forecast order levels.
• Meet or exceed business target plans.
• Communicate effectively, both internally and externally - in person or via video collaboration tools.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with OEMs, identifying new business opportunities, and providing technical sales support to customers.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and maintain multiple contacts at major OEM accounts within the area of responsibility.
• Develop new OEM customer bearing specifications to assure NTN is preferred supplier.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have excellent time management skills to work from a home office.
• Flexibility to travel up to 40% of the time.

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
