Austin, TX – fully onsite + travel to customer sites across Central TX

Are you an early-career Electrical or Mechanical Engineer looking for a customer-facing role where you can build deep expertise in mission-critical power and cooling systems?

This is an exciting opportunity to join a small, engineer-owned distributor that will help develop your skills in sales and the technical aspect of UPS systems, cooling technologies, power distribution, and other technologies.

The company is well-established and partners with leading manufacturers while staying vendor-agnostic, delivering practical, cost-effective solutions that protect uptime. They design, build, and support critical infrastructure for data centers and industrial facilities across Texas.

In this role you will visit customer sites, assess existing electrical/mechanical infrastructure, document scopes of work and site reports, support quoting and equipment selection, and act as a technical point of contact before, during, and after delivery.

This role would suit a recent graduate in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering who wants to be customer-facing, structured training, high responsibility, and clear progression as the business grows.

The Role:

• Site visits/walkthroughs of UPS, power distribution, and precision cooling systems
• Create scopes of work, site reports, photos, and one-line sketches
• Support quoting: equipment selection, pricing input, and project scoping
• Customer-facing technical support before/during/after project delivery

The Person:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
• 0–5 years’ experience, comfortable in a customer-facing/site-based role
• Ability to read/interpret electrical/mechanical drawings and one-line diagrams
