As a Sales Engineer, you will be a key contact between our company and clients. You will use your technical expertise to deliver tailored solutions, handle technical inquiries, and ensure successful implementation and optimization of our products and services. Collaboration with clients and internal teams will be essential to provide outstanding service and support.

This role combines technical knowledge with an understanding of client needs and business opportunities. You will leverage your expertise to develop top-tier solutions and gain stakeholder support throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Engage with clients to understand their technical requirements, challenges, and goals.
  2. Provide expert guidance on integrating, customizing, and utilizing our products or services.
  3. Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, development, and support, to address client needs and feedback.
  4. Cultivate strong relationships with clients, ensuring high satisfaction and loyalty.
  5. Stay informed on emerging technologies and Lenovo's strategies to address them.
  6. Collect and relay customer feedback on current products to Lenovo Business Units to inform future product improvements.
  7. Develop and maintain relationships with Lenovo sales teams and serve as a support specialist.
  8. Assist in managing the sales process with Lenovo Sellers and build new relationships with decision-makers involved in solution choices.

Basic Qualifications:

  1. BA/BS degree or relevant technical background/certification.
  2. 5+ years experience in a technical sales or consultative support role.
  3. Ability to travel 25-50%.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Proven experience in acquiring new business and managing relationships within existing accounts.
  2. Demonstrated high performance and success track record.
  3. Strong technical problem-solving skills and ability to analyze and resolve complex issues.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  5. Strong relationship and team-building skills.
  6. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
  7. Previous experience as a sales engineer is highly desirable.
