Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Builds and defines learning paths for onboarding and ongoing training across field sales; collaborates with sales leaders to align programs with priorities.
  • Plans and participates in new hire training, sales training, and sales capabilities and tools training.
  • Designs and implements metrics to measure enablement programs, effectiveness, and impact.
  • Uses data to identify business priorities and gaps and helps create end-to-end enablement solutions beyond training.
  • Develops sales enablement tools and materials to support revenue-generating activities.
  • Identifies repeatable methodologies for rapid dissemination across the field.
  • Ensures skills, knowledge and sales readiness of the sales organization.
  • Travels to assigned branch locations to deliver training and support Birmingham Training center.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

SUMMARY

The Sales Enablement Trainer supports the sales organization with initial onboarding, continuous sales training, best practice sharing and additional sales support to maximize the success of our outside sales team.

JOB DUTIES
  • Builds and defines learning paths for initial onboarding and ongoing training programs across all field sales audiences. Collaborates with sales leaders and cross-functional teams to define, prioritize, and align programs with local priorities and training opportunities
  • Plans and participates in key activities, including but not limited to new hire training and on-boarding, sales training, sales capabilities, skills, and tools training.
  • Designs and implements metrics to measure enablement programs, effectiveness, and impact.
  • Uses data to identify key business priorities and gaps and assist in the creation of end-to-end enablement solutions beyond just training efforts.
  • Develops sales enablement tools and materials that support the sales force in their revenue-generating efforts.
  • Identifies and spotlights repeatable standard methodologies for rapid dissemination across the field.
  • Ensures skills, knowledge, and sales readiness of sales organization.
  • Travels to assigned branch locations to deliver training sessions as well as support new sales associate training at our Birmingham Training & Development center.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
  • Typically requires a bachelor's degree in business, marketing or a related field and five (5)or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to propose positive business solutions.
  • Reliability, organization and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including presentation skills.
