Job summary

Xcel Energy Services Inc. seeks a Sales Support Specialist to assist customers by answering procedural questions about products, incentives and energy services. You will analyze data, prepare rate analyses, and support sales reps with contracts and presentations.

You will also handle billing history requests, monitor call performance, and assist in CRM tool implementation for Mass Market, collaborating with cross-location Sales Support Specialists.

Qualifications

• Three years of marketing, sales or customer service experience or equivalent knowledge.
• High school diploma required; associate degree or certification preferred.
• Advanced skills in spreadsheets and database creation/maintenance; proficiency with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customers' procedural questions on product lines, incentive applications and energy issues.
• Prepare rate analyses, contracts, proposals and sales presentations.
• Respond to billing history requests from customers and third parties.
• Provide analytic, computer-based support for sales databases to reps and maintain CRM data.
• Aid in implementing and maintaining the Mass Market customer relationship management tool.
