Job summary

Franklin Templeton seeks a Sales Enablement Analyst to join a data-driven Institutional Sales Enablement function. You will turn complex data into clear insights, support U.S. Institutional and Consultant Relations with dashboards, and partner with cross-functional teams to drive strategic initiatives.

Based in Pasadena, CA or Boston, MA, this hybrid role includes collaboration across distribution, technology, and finance to deliver actionable recommendations and improve sales outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, reporting, financial services, investment management, or a related analytical role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable business insights.
  • Experience creating reports and data visualizations that support business planning and decision-making.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large, complex datasets.
  • Experience with SQL, Power BI, or similar tools is a plus.
  • Experience supporting sales, distribution, client engagement, pipeline analysis, segmentation, or business development analytics is a plus.
  • Knowledge of investment management, asset management, or financial services is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to explain findings to technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Turn Data into Strategic Insights: Analyze business, product, sales, and client data to uncover trends and growth drivers.
  • Translate complex data into actionable recommendations to support planning and performance.
  • Partner with sales leaders to deliver analysis informing strategic initiatives.
  • Provide analytical support to U.S. Institutional and Consultant Relations teams (pipeline, client trends, segmentation).
  • Guide dashboards and metrics development with the reporting team to improve visibility into pipeline activity and client engagement.
  • CRMs power user; support adoption and data quality, surface insights, and gather feedback to improve the sales experience.
  • Collaborate across Franklin Templeton to solve business questions with practical analytical solutions.

About The Team

Join Franklin Templeton’s Institutional Sales Enablement team and help global sales teams use data, technology, and insights to better serve clients and grow the business. Our team delivers actionable intelligence, innovative tools, and data-driven recommendations that support distribution transformation, deepen client engagement, and enable scalable growth. In this collaborative role, you will work with Distribution Intelligence, Data, Technology, Client Services, and stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Legal/Compliance to turn complex information into clear business intelligence.

As a Sales Enablement Analyst, you will help bring this mission to life as a trusted analytical partner to sales leaders and business stakeholders, with a focus on the U.S. Institutional and Consultant Relations businesses. You will uncover trends, identify opportunities, and translate complex information into insights that inform strategy and support business growth. How You Will Add Value
Turn Data into Strategic Insights
  • Analyze business, product, sales, and client data to uncover trends, risks, opportunities, and growth drivers.
  • Translate complex data into actionable recommendations that support planning, prioritization, and business performance.
  • Partner with sales leaders and business stakeholders to deliver analysis that informs strategic initiatives and distribution objectives.
Support Sales and Business Development Efforts
  • Provide analytical support to the U.S. Institutional and Consultant Relations teams, including pipeline activity, sales engagement, client trends, and segmentation opportunities.
  • Partner with the reporting team to identify business needs and guide the development of dashboards and metrics that increase visibility into pipeline activity, client engagement, and business development outcomes.
  • Serve as a CRM power user and partner with sales teams to support adoption, maintain clean data, surface actionable insights, share updates, and gather feedback to improve the sales experience.
Collaborate Across a Global Organization
  • Collaborate with teams across Franklin Templeton to solve complex business questions and deliver practical analytical solutions.
  • Support strategic, corporate, and executive-level reporting requests with thoughtful analysis, clear storytelling, and reliable data.
What Will Help You Be Successful

Work schedule & location

This role is based in our Pasadena, CA or Boston, MA office and follows a hybrid schedule of 4 days in the office and 1 day remote each week. We expect the annual salary for this position to range between $78,700 - $92,600 depending on location and level of relevant experience, plus discretionary bonus.
