ROLE DESCRIPTION
The Sales & E-Commerce Specialist is a full-time, hybrid role based in Boulder, CO, with flexibility for part-time work from home. In this role, the specialist manages online sales channels, supports retail and wholesale partners, and helps drive revenue through e-commerce platforms and digital marketplaces. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring product listings, optimizing content and pricing, analyzing sales data, and coordinating promotions and campaigns with internal teams. The specialist will communicate with customers and partners to resolve inquiries, provide product information, and help ensure a positive purchasing experience. This role also collaborates with sales leadership to support training initiatives, implement sales strategies, and contribute to continuous improvement across online and offline channels.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
Support the Sales Team
- Create and update customer presentations, line sheets, assortment recaps, product summaries, and other sales materials.
- Gather product details, pricing, images, samples, and supporting documents for retailer meetings and account requests.
- Coordinate new retailer and new item setup, tracking requirements and deadlines through completion.
- Help prepare assortment proposals and analyze sales performance to support account planning.
- Track customer requests and follow up with internal teams to resolve missing information or open issues.
- Keep sales tools and shared product resources accurate, current, and easy to use.
Manage E-Commerce Content and Launches
- Build and maintain product listings across Amazon, retailer e-commerce sites, and DTC platforms.
- Write and edit product titles, descriptions, bullet points, and other customer-facing content that accurately communicates product features and brand positioning.
- Manage product attributes, size and color variations, specifications, images, and other digital assets required for online listings.
- Prepare and submit item setup files and product feeds in the formats required by each channel.
- Troubleshoot feed errors, suppressed or incomplete listings, rejected content, and other issues that delay a product launch or affect the customer experience.
- Audit live product pages for accuracy, completeness, consistency, and presentation quality.
- Coordinate content updates for new assortments, seasonal changes, discontinued items, and product revisions.
- Maintain a reliable source of product information that can be adapted efficiently for different customers and channels.
Help Improve Digital Performance
- Monitor listing quality and identify opportunities to improve content, discoverability, and conversion.
- Work with sales and merchandising to prioritize content improvements for key products and accounts.
- Use available channel and sales data to identify missing listings, content gaps, and assortment opportunities.
- Support promotional and seasonal launches by ensuring products, assets, and content are ready on time.
- Recommend practical improvements to product setup and content workflows as the business grows.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Experience supporting a sales team, retail accounts, e-commerce business, or a combination of these areas.
- Hands‑on experience with Amazon Seller Central or Vendor Central and a working understanding of Amazon product listings, variations, content requirements, and listing issues.
- Experience managing product content for omni‑channel retail, including retailer portals, item setup processes, and customer‑specific content requirements.
- Experience with a DTC e‑commerce platform and an understanding of how product content affects the shopping experience and conversion.
- Strong Excel skills and comfort working with product catalogs, item setup templates, and large sets of product data.
- Ability to write clear, accurate product copy and maintain consistent brand presentation across channels.
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and follow‑through across multiple accounts and deadlines.
- Ability to investigate errors, find the underlying issue, and coordinate a resolution.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively with sales, merchandising, product development, and operations.
Helpful experience:
Accessories or consumer products; wholesale retail; licensed brands; NetSuite; product information management systems; digital asset management; and marketplace or retailer feed tools.
