Role Summary

The Sales Director is a strategic deal maker who aligns solutions with client needs, targeting complex deals valued between $5M and $50M+. You will focus on the public sector in Florida, primarily with State agencies, City/County governments, and Higher Education institutions, leveraging existing relationships to drive sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop solutions for complex business challenges, understanding client needs deeply.
  2. Expand business in new areas through innovative offerings and services.
  3. Lead the sales cycle from origination through closure, building a profitable pipeline.
  4. Manage large deal pursuits, collaborating with client teams and internal stakeholders.
  5. Implement and follow Accenture’s sales methodologies to maximize success.
  6. Build and maintain trust-based relationships with public sector clients.
  7. Travel as needed, up to 100%.
Qualifications
  • At least 8 years of experience in originating and closing complex multi-tower service deals, preferably over $10M.
  • Proven ability to shape, negotiate, and close large deals within Public Services/Higher Education sectors.
  • Existing trust-based relationships with Florida’s State, City/County, or Higher Education institutions.
Preferred Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Knowledge of emerging IT and business trends.
  • Ability to leverage a broad range of services to create client value.

Location & Compensation

Preferred locations: Tallahassee or Jacksonville, FL. Compensation varies based on experience and location, with salary ranges provided for specific states. Additional incentives include performance-based bonuses.
