Job summary

Blacksmith Agency LLC is seeking a Sales Director for HVAC to own large multi-location deals, from the initial meeting with ownership to the signed contract. As an individual contributor, you will close multi-location groups with high stakes and complex stakeholder maps.

You will collaborate with our sales development team and inbound leads to target HVAC groups, manage 3–12 month cycles, and expand locations and services once a deal is signed.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of closing $1M+ annually in large, multi-location accounts.
• Experience selling to HVAC groups or multi-location buyers of services.
• Long consultative sales cycles with multiple decision makers.

Responsibilities

• Own the full cycle on large HVAC deals: discovery, proposal, negotiation and close (3–12 months).
• Engage with owners, regional operators and marketing leaders during negotiations.
• Expand after signing: add locations and services across groups.
• Create proposals with strategists and leadership for key deals.

No direct reports. This is an individual contributor seat going after strategic, multi-location HVAC accounts: large groups you open and close yourself.

About The Role

Blacksmith Agency is an AI-first digital agency running websites, SEO and paid media for multi-location HVAC and home service groups. As Sales Director for HVAC, you own our largest multi-location HVAC deals, from the first meeting with ownership to the signed contract. One win covers many locations, so each deal is large, multi-stakeholder and worth the work. Our sales development team and inbound put qualified meetings with these groups on your calendar, so your time goes to closing.

The seat

• $2M annual quota, carried on a small number of large accounts.
• Leads fed to you: meetings with multi-location HVAC and home service groups, booked by our sales development team or inbound.
• No management. No team to build, hire or run.
• Strategic accounts: HVAC groups with many locations, where one signed deal covers the whole group and opens the next.

What You Will Own

• The full cycle on large deals: discovery, proposal, negotiation and close, over 3 to 12 months.
• Deals with owners, regional operators and marketing leaders all at the table.
• Expansion: more locations and more services once a group signs.
• Proposals built with our strategists and leadership for the deals that matter most.

What You Bring

• A record of closing $1M+ a year on large, multi-location or enterprise accounts.
• Selling into HVAC groups, or marketing and agency services to similar multi-location buyers.
• Long, consultative cycles with several decision makers. If your background is high-volume, single-location or one-call transactional sales, this is a different job.
• You would rather close business than manage people.
