Job summary

Blacksmith Agency LLC is seeking a Sales Director for HVAC. This role leads the full sales cycle for large, multi-location HVAC accounts, from discovery through negotiation to close, with ownership across multiple locations.

You will engage owners, regional operators, and marketing leaders in strategic discussions and drive expansion as soon as a contract signs. The position is remote (USA or Canada) with a $2M annual quota, and no direct reports.

No direct reports. This is an individual contributor seat going after strategic, multi-location HVAC accounts: large groups you open and close yourself.

About The Role

Blacksmith Agency is an AI-first digital agency running websites, SEO and paid media for multi-location HVAC and home service groups. As Sales Director for HVAC, you own our largest multi-location HVAC deals, from the first meeting with ownership to the signed contract. One win covers many locations, so each deal is large, multi-stakeholder and worth the work. Our sales development team and inbound put qualified meetings with these groups on your calendar, so your time goes to closing.

The seat

• $2M annual quota, carried on a small number of large accounts.
• Leads fed to you: meetings with multi-location HVAC and home service groups, booked by our sales development team or inbound.
• No management. No team to build, hire or run.
• Strategic accounts: HVAC groups with many locations, where one signed deal covers the whole group and opens the next.

What You Will Own

• The full cycle on large deals: discovery, proposal, negotiation and close, over 3 to 12 months.
• Deals with owners, regional operators and marketing leaders all at the table.
• Expansion: more locations and more services once a group signs.
• Proposals built with our strategists and leadership for the deals that matter most.

What You Bring

• A record of closing $1M+ a year on large, multi-location or enterprise accounts.
• Selling into HVAC groups, or marketing and agency services to similar multi-location buyers.
• Long, consultative cycles with several decision makers. If your background is high-volume, single-location or one-call transactional sales, this is a different job.
• You would rather close business than manage people.
