With years of experience, our client is one of the UK's largest consumer & B2B email data owners and operates a proprietary customer acquisition platform. They leverage a GDPR-compliant and fully-opted-in database of consumers with hundreds of data points on each email to help brands enhance their data strategies for acquisition and retention.

Job Description :

We are seeking a motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our client’s team.

As an SDR, you will play a critical role in new business sales activities for First-Party Data Builds (1PD), securing meetings with direct brands in the retail, travel, beauty, and health sectors.

You will be responsible for reaching out to potential customers, focusing on qualified outreach and meetings booked, and organizing meeting bookings for senior team members.

About You :

  • You have demonstrated an outstanding ability to generate a sales pipeline and have experience as an SDR.
  • You possess good knowledge of the digital advertising ecosystem and are confident in prospecting brands directly.
  • You have proven success in reaching clients, capturing their attention, and securing meetings.
  • You are eager to be part of a small team and adaptable to rapid change.
  • You are organized, motivated, excel at pipeline management using tools and processes, and proficient in presentation tools and techniques.

Your Key Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Identify the correct stakeholders and job titles within a targeted list of companies, focusing on contact details such as email, LinkedIn, and phone numbers.
  • Engage with prospects’ posts on LinkedIn and reach out via LinkedIn, email, and phone to secure meetings.
  • Utilize tools like Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Salesforce.
  • Identify similar brands to current clients and the relevant stakeholders within them.
  • Meet daily outreach and new business meeting targets.
  • Manage and track sales pipeline performance in the company's CRM platform (Salesforce).
  • Prospect, evaluate, and contact prospects within the assigned sales patch.
  • Participate in internal sales meetings.
  • Develop and adjust outreach strategies based on market needs.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly goals.
  • Gather market feedback to inform product development and strategy.
  • Contribute to a team culture emphasizing authenticity, transparency, client-centricity, and collaboration.

Your Experience :

  • At least 1 year of progressive sales experience, especially working directly with brands.
  • Proven ability to generate a qualified pipeline through outreach and meetings.
  • Contacts within Paid, Performance, or CRM teams at direct brands are a plus.
  • Ability to break into new agencies and brands.
  • Understanding of first-party data, its value, and growth mechanisms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to learn new skills quickly.
  • Discipline, time management, self-motivation, and resilience.
  • Fluent in English.

Work Hours :

Must be able to work GMT (BST) time, one or two hours ahead of South Africa.

Salary :

  • R20 000 plus commission.
  • Performance-based bonuses and commissions as additional compensation.
