About the Team

The Kikoff Ambassadors team runs high-volume outbound outreach (calls, emails, and LinkedIn) to small businesses such as credit repair companies, debt relief companies, mortgage brokers, auto dealers, and other businesses whose end customers can benefit from credit‑building products.

The ultimate goal is to sign these small businesses up as Kikoff affiliate partners who refer their end customers to Kikoff. By doing so, these small businesses can improve their customer retention while potentially unlocking their customers’ access to financial products (e.g., mortgages, auto loans) through Kikoff’s credit‑building products.

This role is part of a newly established Kikoff office in Phoenix, AZ, where we're building a dedicated, in‑house Sales Development function to run and scale this initiative. As one of the first Sales Development Representatives in this office, you'll play a foundational role in shaping how we prospect, pitch, vet, and onboard the small businesses that become Kikoff's next wave of affiliate partners.

About the Role

We're looking for multiple Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) to help build and scale Kikoff Ambassadors' affiliate partner base. As one of the first Sales Development Representatives in this office, you'll play a foundational role in shaping how we prospect, qualify, and onboard new partners.

This is a full‑cycle, high‑activity role: you'll research and build targeted lists of small businesses, reach out across email, phone, and LinkedIn, pitch the Kikoff Ambassador opportunity, and guide qualifying partners through onboarding into our affiliate platform.

Unlike a typical SDR role that books meetings for someone else to close, you'll own the relationship from first contact through signed partner, so your success is measured not just in conversations started, but in partners actually onboarded.

This role is well suited for someone early in their career who is highly organized, resilient in the face of rejection, curious about small business and the fintech/financial services space, and excited to learn the fundamentals of B2B sales and partnerships from the ground up.

• Use modern sales tools and AI. Build lead lists and outreach using tools like Claude and Apollo alongside a modern CRM, gaining hands‑on experience with the same tech stack used by leading sales organizations.
• Work closely with the Affiliate & Partnerships team. You'll partner directly with the team that manages partner relationships after onboarding, giving you visibility into the full partner lifecycle.
• Help expand into new markets. As Kikoff Ambassadors expands into targeting new verticals (e.g., mortgage brokers), you'll help pioneer outreach into these new verticals.
• Grow with the business. As Kikoff Ambassadors scales into new verticals, this role has potential opportunity for increased scope.

What You'll Do

• Research and build targeted lead lists of prospective affiliate partners using tools like Claude and Apollo.
• Conduct high‑volume outbound outreach via email, phone, and LinkedIn to introduce the Kikoff Ambassador program and generate interest from prospective partners.
• Personalize outreach messaging based on research into a prospect's business and how the Kikoff Ambassador program fits their customer base.
• Pitch the Kikoff Ambassador opportunity clearly and persuasively to business owners and operators.
• Guide qualifying prospects through Kikoff's partner vetting and compliance process before onboarding them into our affiliate platform.
• Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date records of prospects, outreach activity, and onboarded partners in our CRM.
• Track and report on key activity metrics, including dials, emails sent, connects, and partners onboarded
• Consistently meet or exceed your targets for outreach activity and partners signed and onboarded.
• Collaborate with the team to refine outreach strategy, scripts, messaging, and targeting based on what is and isn't working.
• Stay current on Kikoff's product offering and the industries we're prospecting into so you can speak credibly with small business owners.
• Help build out the sales development playbook and processes for Kikoff Ambassadors as one of its first in‑house team members.

What We're Looking For

• Based in or willing to work from our new Phoenix, AZ office 5 days per week.
• 0-2 years of professional experience; new graduates and early‑career candidates are encouraged to apply.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to speak with small business owners over email, phone, and LinkedIn.
• Highly organized and detail‑oriented, with the discipline to keep a CRM and outreach cadence up to date.
• Resilient and coachable; comfortable with rejection and eager to improve based on feedback.
• Curiosity about small business, fintech, financial services, or B2B sales, and interest in building a long‑term career in business development.
• Ability to generate targeted lead lists that align with our defined Ideal Customer Profile.
• Comfortable learning and using new tools quickly, including AI tools like Claude, prospecting platforms like Apollo, and CRM software.
• Self‑starter mentality; excited to help build a brand‑new office and function from the ground up.
• Prior experience in a sales, customer‑facing, or high‑volume outreach role (internships included) is a plus, but not required.
• Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Compensation

Total average OTE will fall roughly in the $80K-$110K range ($55K-$65K base with uncapped commissions)
