Sales Development Representative (Entry Level)

Job Overview

The Sales Development Representative is responsible for generating new business, engaging with prospects, and supporting the sales cycle from initial contact to closing. This role plays a vital part in the organization’s growth and success. Compensation includes base salary plus uncapped commissions.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Revenue Generation: Identify and pursue new revenue opportunities, and deepen relationships with existing clients.
  2. Business Strategy: Develop and implement strategies based on market trends and conditions.
  3. Client Engagement: Initiate contact with prospects, build relationships, and attend networking events.
  4. Sales Process: Prepare proposals, manage sales forecasts, and respond to RFPs.
  5. Project Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and successful project delivery.
  6. Service Agreements: Maintain and renew agreements, and process new client applications.
  7. Compliance: Follow company policies regarding orders, credit, and collections.
  8. Special Projects: Assist with additional projects as assigned.
Knowledge and Skills
  • Maintain relevant professional certifications and pursue ongoing training.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and related tools.

Qualifications

Pay and Benefits

The hourly pay range is $20.00 - $35.00. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, disability, HSA, transportation benefits, and paid time off, subject to eligibility and plan specifics.

Workplace Details

This is a fully onsite role located in East Hartford, CT. The position is expected to close by May 26, 2025.
