Job description

Fast track to AE. First-year SDR on-target earnings $50,000–$55,000. Our top AEs earn $120,000+.

Storyoftheseason.com gives high school and college sports teams media coverage like the pros, helps them raise money and capture memories.

We are the nation's leading Digital + Print Media Guide, Game Day Program, and sports yearbook platform. We've published 5,000+ digital magazines for 500+ schools and teams, and we've changed the way coaches promote their programs and their players.

What makes us different:

You’ll sell something teams actually want and need. Coaches, parents, and athletic directors love what we make, from the weekly digital magazine every family opens on game week to the media guide and yearbook seniors keep for thirty years. And it pays for itself: programs raise money by selling sponsorships to local businesses and we handle the admin and fulfillment.

The path:

Start as an SDR setting meetings, sitting in on the sales process, and learning to qualify and close provided leads. We give you the script, the product, and hands‑on coaching. You bring the motor. This isn't a seat you sit in for years. Top performers earn a promotion to Account Executive in as little as 3–4 months , with their own accounts, their own territory, and a much bigger paycheck.

The ladder:
  • SDR: base + commission + bonus, OTE $50,000–$55,000 year one.
  • Account Executive: base + uncapped commission + seasonal bonuses. OTE above $75,000 , and our top performers earn $120,000+ .
What you'll do:
  • Call and email high school and college coaches and booster clubs to book meetings
  • Sit in on the sales process and learn our services and sales cycle
  • Show programs how we help them raise money, get professional media coverage, and capture their season
  • Manage your activity and accounts in the CRM
  • Hit your quarterly quota, close a lot of deals, and get paid!
What we're looking for:
  • Competitive! Competitive! Competitive! Everything starts by living our core values every day.
  • A hungry, relentless self-starter who is goal-oriented and coachable, works well solo and on a team, and can handle rejection and keep moving forward.
  • Passionate about sports. If the game meant something to you, you'll get why this matters to a family.
  • Required: high school diploma or 2+ years of work experience. Preferred: former athlete and/or sales. Experience is a plus, not a dealbreaker.
