At Portsmouth Computer Group (PCGiT), we’re not just another IT services provider, we’re a leading Managed Services and Security Provider (MSSP), helping businesses across New Hampshire, southern Maine, and northeastern Massachusetts stay secure and productive. We’re looking for a high-energy Sales Development Representative (SDR) who is a true hunter, thrives on dialing, and knows how to turn a “no” into a future “yes.”

This role requires in-office presence at least 3 days per week at our Portsmouth, NH office.

What You’ll Do:

  • Prospect & Engage – Execute high-volume outbound calls and emails to potential clients, generating qualified sales opportunities.
  • Handle Rejection Like a Pro – Push through objections with confidence and persistence, knowing that every “no” brings you closer to a “yes.”
  • Build & Manage the Pipeline – Work within HubSpot CRM and ZoomInfo to develop a targeted prospect list and convert leads into booked meetings.
  • Consult & Sell – Communicate PCGiT’s Managed IT and Security Services value proposition, demonstrating how we solve IT challenges for SMBs.
  • Leverage LinkedIn & Referrals – Develop strategic relationships with decision-makers and utilize LinkedIn to generate new opportunities.
  • Hit Your Numbers – Meet and exceed sales metrics, contributing to revenue growth and celebrating wins (yes, we actually ring a bell!).

What You Bring to the Table:

1-3 years of experience in a Sales Development or Business Development role, with a with a proven track record of exceeding KPIs and a clear trajectory toward closing roles. Experience in B2B technology, cybersecurity, or IT services is preferred.

Demonstrated success in outbound prospecting, including cold calling, email campaigns, and social selling strategies.

Proficiency with CRM systems (HubSpot preferred) and sales enablement tools like ZoomInfo, Outreach, or SalesLoft.

Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to craft compelling messages and navigate complex sales conversations.

A growth-oriented mindset, with a strong desire to advance into full-cycle sales roles.

Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

Recent graduates with relevant sales internships or participation in collegiate sales programs are welcome to apply. We seek individuals who have proactively pursued sales experiences and exhibit the drive and characteristics aligned with successful SDRs.
