As a Sales Associate, you will have an exciting opportunity to grow your sales career with the industry leader. You will support the business plan through profitable revenue generation, gaining hands-on training and real-world experience in the field, selling to actual customers, and impacting the company's bottom line while increasing your skills and confidence.

Location: Anywhere within driving distance of one of our 1200+ locations across North America. This position involves working with local branches and independently. Talk with our team today to discuss location opportunities and relocation options.

Sales Development Program - What We Do:
  1. Improve sales performance with automated learning paths, certification, and retention strategies.
  2. Provide structured coaching with weekly 1:1 sessions for reps and managers.
  3. Develop skills through video role plays, simulated scenarios, and ride-alongs.
  4. Distribute micro-learning content via videos, quizzes, and challenges.
  5. Use analytics for real-time achievement tracking, capability measurement, and identifying knowledge gaps.
  6. Engage teams with gamification elements like leaderboards and badges.
  7. Access sales tools for internal and customer-facing content.
  8. Leverage AI for descriptive and predictive insights to maximize engagement and proficiency.
What You'll Do:
  • Qualify and assess customer needs using CRM (SalesForce.com) and persuasive selling techniques.
  • Gather contact information and customer needs for future marketing and sales efforts.
  • Identify and sell to new customers using marketing and sales tools.
  • Re-engage declining or dormant customers with our value propositions.
  • Support branch operations and learn IT systems for quotes, rentals, sales, and reservations.
  • Coordinate with branch departments to ensure customer satisfaction and communicate field issues.
  • Work with ISR's to provide solutions, including equipment needs assessment, demonstrations, and quotations.
  • Negotiate prices in accordance with company policies.
  • Drive customer engagement through local events and promotions.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Preferred: One year of sales-related experience.
  • Proven planning, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with at least 1 year of experience.
  • Strong presentation skills and sales orientation.
  • Strong teamwork and organizational skills.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable record.
  • Willingness to relocate.
