Job summary

Duro-Last Roofing, the world’s leading manufacturer of prefabricated roofing systems, invites you to join our Saginaw, MI team as Sales Development Coordinator. You will support order management, present products, and collaborate with in-field reps to drive growth.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, 1–3 years in sales, strong communication, and the ability to travel 10–20% to industry events and customer visits. This in-office position offers comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 1–3 years of sales experience.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel 10–20% for industry events and customer visits.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain frequent phone contact with customers and handle order management.
  • Present the full Duro-Last product line to customers.
  • Provide sales support to in-field reps to keep focus on selling.
  • Assist with plant tours and sales trainings for contractors.
  • Pre-qualify leads and route to the appropriate sales representative.
  • Travel within the territory to build loyalty and identify opportunities.
  • Plan and participate in industry trade shows and territory reviews.
  • Drive territory growth by maximizing order value per square foot.
  • Coordinate plant tours for contractors and building owners.
  • Attend sales meetings and contribute improvement ideas.
  • Other duties as assigned.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Duro-Last Roofing, the world’s largest manufacturer of prefabricated roofing systems, has an opening for a Sales Development Coordinator at their Saginaw, MI headquarters. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonaland communication skills. They will also have a Bachelor’s degree along with experience in sales development. Thisis an in-office position.

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
  • Frequent contact and support via phone with Duro-Last customers and associates, assisting with ordermanagement
  • Become well-versed in presenting all Duro-Last product line offerings
  • Provide all levels of sales support to in-field Sales Representatives to keep them focused on selling
  • Assist with Plant tours and Duro-Last sales training to Duro-Last contractors
  • Pre-qualify leads for the territory and disperse them to the appropriate Sales Rep.
  • Travel within territory to build loyalty with Duro-Last customers and create new business opportunities withbuilding owners, specifiers, corporate accounts, architects, etc.
  • Plan, exhibit, and execute successful industry trade shows
  • Participation in territory sales plans, meetings and evaluations
  • Drive territory growth by looking through orders determining missing product line items, maximizing our $/sqft
  • Assist with scheduling and coordinating plant tours for contractors, building owners and other groups to growawareness of our different product offerings
  • Attend and contribute during sales meetings, offering insight of improvements that can be made
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Field of Study Preferred: Management/Sales/Marketing or similar
  • Required Work Experience: 1-3 years sales experience
  • Required Computer and Software Skills: Microsoft Office/Google products
  • Travel Requirements: Ability to travel to attend Industry Events and Customer visits (10% - 20%)
