Location: Washington DC / East Coast USA

Capgemini is seeking a dynamic and results driven Sales / Business Developer to lead business growth in our Engineering, Research & Development (ER&D) division for the CPRS – Services Sector business. This role is central to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, and requires a strategic, customer focused approach to expand our market presence.

Key responsibilities:
  • Identifying and cultivating new business leads, driving growth through both short and long-term opportunities.
  • Building relationships with key prospects and clients and becoming their trusted partner and advisor.
  • Leading and collaborating across multidisciplinary teams to craft compelling, tailored solutions that optimally showcase Capgemini’s outstanding value proposition.
  • Applying solution-selling methodologies to strongly position Capgemini Engineering across a range of offerings around mechanical engineering, software engineering, embedded software, systems engineering, connectivity, supply chain, and asset management.
  • Representing Capgemini’s strategic differentiators with confidence and expertise, ensuring our solutions meet clients’ evolving needs and drive innovation.
Required Skills
  • Minimum 9 years validated experience in new business development.
  • Experience selling engineering services.
  • Prior experience selling in the Services Sector- (Logistics, Distribution, EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction), Airlines, Professional Services (selling to Global Consulting firms), and Government.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required, preferably in engineering. MBA or equivalent experience is a plus.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A consultative approach to selling, with a strong focus on delivering tangible, outcome oriented solutions.
  • Ability to travel up to 20%.
