Job summary

Buckner Retirement Services, Calder Woods in Beaumont, TX, is seeking a Sales Counselor to drive growth in resident admissions and community engagement. You will manage the sales cycle from inquiry to move-in, use our CRM to track leads, and partner with the marketing and operations teams to present a welcoming, information-rich experience for prospective residents and their families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, or related field is required/preferred.
• Minimum of three years related sales experience in senior living or healthcare is expected.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; strong Excel skills including pivot tables.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed to meet business needs.
• Able to move objects up to 50 pounds occasionally and 20 pounds frequently.

We are seeking a Sales Counselor to join our community committed to delivering outstanding service to our residents. As a Sales Counselor, you will play an important role in all phases of sales and marketing that meets or exceeds Buckner quality, service, and hospitality standards. What you'll do

• Effectively communicate the value of health, social and community benefits to prospective residents of Calder Woods.
• Consistently achieve established sales goals and meet performance expectations. Effective and timely use of the CRM system in the selling process.
• Use Sales Performance Indicators (SPI's) to set goals and diagnose areas of strength and needed improvement. Achieve monthly SPI goals.
• Establish and effectively maintain professional communications with prospective residents and key influencers using telephone, emails, home visits, and approved methods to facilitate the selling process and close the sale.
• Exercises excellent professional meeting management skills with residents, family members, and others.
• Maintain proficient understanding of business documents related to residency, including residency contracts. Accurately articulates document content to prospective and new residents. Convey information timely and accurately and responds to questions promptly.
• Seeks assistance from the Director of Sales and Marketing, Executive Director and legal team as needed to ensure language understanding and accuracy of information.
• Manage the sales process from first inquiry to receipt of deposit and ensures a smooth transition for new resident move-ins.

What you'll bring

• Bachelor's Degree in communications, marketing, or other related fields of study preferred.
• Minimum three-year related experience.
• Requires current proficient-level experience and working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Proficient ability to create professional documents using Microsoft Office software. Proficient ability to create complex Excel spreadsheets using formulas and pivot tables required.
• Requires working a flexible schedule to be available to potential and new residents during some evenings, weekends, and or holidays as needed to meet business needs.
• Requires ability to use up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently and/or 10 pounds continuously to move objects.
