This position is a hybrid role, involving approximately 90% remote work and 10% onsite at distribution centers across the West Region of the United States, including locations such as Anchorage AK, Everett WA, Fife WA, Spokane WA, Billings MT, Portland OR, Salt Lake City UT, Albuquerque NM, Lubbock TX, Phoenix AZ, Las Vegas NV, San Diego CA, Corona CA, Los Angeles CA, Fontana CA, San Francisco CA, Sacramento CA, Reno NV, Fresno CA, within a 50-mile radius of these offices.

The role typically requires onsite presence about once a month or for training sessions.

The Sales Coordinator acts as the first point of contact for assigned Territory Managers and Customers, supporting team selling, handling administrative tasks, and resolving customer inquiries promptly using US Foods products, systems, and tools. The role involves serving as a liaison among Customers, Territory Managers, District Sales Managers, and other support staff, engaging in regular communication with customers, processing orders, resolving issues, and identifying sales opportunities.

Schedule: Sunday - Thursday, 9:30 am - 6 pm MT

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop relationships with key customers to meet US Foods' key results.
  • Handle customer orders, promote engagement, and support sales initiatives.
  • Support team selling efforts and maintain order accuracy.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and escalate issues as needed.
  • Utilize US Foods systems and tools for customer service and order management.
  • Participate in professional development activities.
  • Assist with administrative tasks for sales management.
  • Provide backup coverage for team members as required.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s preferred.
  • Minimum three years of customer service experience; food distribution experience is a plus.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to influence and persuade customers professionally.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

This role includes overtime pay and benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, disability coverage, employee stock purchase plan, and life insurance. Compensation varies based on experience, skills, location, and other factors, with an expected base pay between $17 and $25 per hour.
