Job description

The Sales Coordinator supports Sales Managers and Field Sales Consultants with strategic development

and management of accounts through identifying leads and up-selling opportunities, establishing phone

calling programs, and conducting inside direct phone sales. Initiates and cultivates phone communication

with the Company’s existing customer base to enhance and maintain strong customer relations.

Communicates the value of Oasis products to the medical community with confidence, clarity, and

knowledge. Provides administrative support, sales analysis, database management, and internal reporting.

The position performs a vital part in enhancing the Company’s infrastructure, and has the capability to

contribute to the strength and sustainable growth of Oasis Medical.

Essential Job Functions

  • Support Sales Managers and field Sales force
  • Assist in lead generation, existing customer relations, and implementing marketing strategies
  • Work with Sales team, other departments and outside contacts to satisfy customers and achieve
Company goals
  • Identify and make direct calls to generate sales from inactive customers and lapsed accounts
  • Respond to customer requests for product information, availability, and price; and provide product

recommendations based on customer reviews and feedback

  • Maintain customer database in CRM and manage sales lead pipeline
  • Work the phone effectively, to include handling all incoming inquiries, making direct calls, pursuing
  • sales leads, and conducting trade show follow-up’s
  • Analyze sales results and trends, and prepare meaningful reporting to Sales managers, Sales

Consultants and Manufacturing managers to help target product sales and plan production

  • Responsible for account management and “up-selling” the Company’s products
  • Assist outside sales representatives in their territory management
  • Coordinate all new product releases in conjunction with Customer Service Representative
  • Identify change and improvement in work processes to promote efficiency as OASIS grows
  • Adhere to general safety rules, manufacturing procedures, and quality procedures as applicable
  • Exhibit professional behavior and demeanor at all times; proactively resolve issues using BestPractices
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested or assigned
  • Comply with all Company policies
Experience/Training/Education
  • BA/ BS Degree preferred, preferably in Marketing or a business-related field.
  • 2+ years work experience working in Marketing, Direct Marketing, e-Commerce, or Sales desired
  • Experience working with sales and marketing to develop and analyze online/offline-marketing

campaigns

  • Knowledge and/or experience in an industry regulated by Quality System Regulations helpful
  • Understanding of FDA Quality System and ISO regulations preferred
  • Experience in ophthalmic industry desirable

  • Ophthalmic or medical-related experience is a plus
  • Advanced computer skills working with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Excel and ACT
  • Ability to organize and maintain detailed quality records/documentation, and generate requiredreporting
  • Able to draw on diplomatic communication skills
  • Requires minimal supervision

Provide proactive and effective sales and sales support.Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong working knowledge of ophthalmic device terminology and processes. Ability to read and interpret documents such as governmentnotices and instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to prepare advanced correspondence, detailedreporting and effective visual presentations. Ability to effectively and fluidly communicate product features,and to generate goodwill and confidence with medical community customers. Ability to communicatediplomatically and respectfully with customers, as well as Sales managers and employees.Math & Reasoning: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations, as well as those where only limited standardization exists. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to define problems, collectdata, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Physical and Environmental Elements
Physical Demands:

Ability to sit continuously for up to 2/3 or more of normal work shift. Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, and to reach with hands and arms occasionally. Ability to talk and to hear continuously. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally. Finger dexterity is required frequently for up to 2/3 of the normal work shift for PC input. Ability to see at close range (20 inches or less), at a distance ( clear vision at 20 feet or more), ability to identify and distinguish colors, ability to observe an area that canbe seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point, three-dimensional vision,ability to judge distances and spatial relationships, and ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharpfocus.

Work Environment:

Employees work in an office with moderate noise levels (such as computers and printers) and controlled temperature conditions. Employees may occasionally operate a vehicle and be exposed to traffic conditions that may include loud noises, fumes, and traffic congestion.

Special Requirement:

May be required to work weekends and holidays as business necessitates; schedules will be determined by the department supervisor/management with at least 48 hours in advance notice.
