Job summary

The McGrath Family of Dealerships is seeking a Sales Consultant to join a fast-paced, people-oriented team in Marion, IA. You will build relationships, understand customer needs, and demonstrate vehicles with confidence.

We offer extensive training, mentorship, a generous pay plan with strong earning potential (average over $6,000/month; top performers over $12,000/month) and growth opportunities. Flexible hours including weekends.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to learn vehicle features and financing options.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships and create customers for life.
• Assist customers in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses.
• Be the vehicle expert; know the in's and out's of product offerings, optional packages and latest technology.
• Perform high-quality and professional demonstrations of new/used vehicles.
• Follow-up with buyers to ensure referral business.
• Learn to overcome objections and thrive in sales situations.
• Direct report to the Sales Manager regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews, and analyses.
• Bring your 'A game' and positive attitude with you everyday.
• Available to work flexible hours and weekends.
• Ready to hit the ground running on learning new products in's and out's.
• Fantastic communication skills with your customers.
• Professional, well-groomed personal appearance.
• Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and motor vehicle check.
