Job summary

Swickard Auto Group's Crown Toyota of Ontario in Ontario, CA is seeking an energetic Sales Consultant to help guests select vehicles aligned with their needs and budget. You will build a trusted relationship through a transparent, guest-focused experience and leverage Toyota's lineup to showcase value.

In this role, you will conduct test drives, follow up with customers using CRM, and collaborate with finance and management to deliver a seamless, pressure-free purchase.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive sales or customer-facing roles.
• Proficient with CRM and comfortable with digital communication.
• Relationship-first approach with strong communication.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Self-motivated with a track record of results.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with warmth and curiosity to understand needs.
• Guide guests through vehicle selection, linking Toyota reliability and value to buyer needs.
• Present vehicles and conduct test drives that feel real, not a sales pitch.
• Build and maintain a guest pipeline through CRM and follow-up.
• Collaborate with finance and management to deliver a transparent, pressure-free purchase.
• Meet monthly targets while maintaining guest satisfaction scores.
• Stay current on Toyota inventory and market positioning.
• Represent Crown Toyota of Ontario and Swickard's hospitality standards in every interaction.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Automotive sales experience preferred -- candidates from hospitality, retail, or consultative sales backgrounds are encouraged to apply
• A relationship-first approach -- you listen before you present, and you earn trust before you ask for the sale
• Self-motivated with a consistent track record of follow-through and results
• Comfortable with CRM tools and digital communication
• Clear, honest communicator -- Toyota guests appreciate straightforward conversations
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
