Job summary

Crown Toyota in Ontario, CA, part of Swickard Auto Group, is hiring a Sales Consultant. You will welcome guests, guide them through Toyota’s lineup, and arrange test drives to bring the ownership experience to life.

You will build a guest pipeline with disciplined follow-up, collaborate with finance, and aim to meet monthly targets while delivering excellent guest care.

Qualifications

• Hospitality, retail, financial services or consultative sales background preferred.
• Relationship-first communicator who earns trust through listening and guidance.
• Self-motivated with a drive to build a long-term book of business.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Welcome guests with genuine warmth and curiosity -- understanding what they need before presenting what we have
• Guide guests through Toyota's lineup with growing product knowledge and confidence -- connecting reliability, value, and technology to what matters most to each buyer
• Present vehicles and conduct test drives that bring the Toyota ownership experience to life
• Build and maintain a guest pipeline through consistent, disciplined follow-up and CRM use
• Collaborate with finance and management to deliver a transparent, pressure-free purchase experience
• Meet monthly targets while maintaining strong guest satisfaction scores
• Stay current on Toyota's full lineup, technology features, and growing hybrid and EV offerings

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• No automotive experience required -- paid Toyota brand and product training provided from day one
• Experience in hospitality, retail, financial services, or consultative sales strongly preferred -- backgrounds that build trust and deliver results with genuine care transfer directly to this role
• Relationship-first approach -- you listen before you present and follow through on every commitment
• Self-motivated with a genuine drive to build a long-term book of business, not just close individual deals
• Clear, honest communicator -- Toyota buyers are informed and value a consultant who respects that
• Comfortable with CRM tools and digital communication -- or quick to learn them
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
