Job summary

Inspired Construction Services LLC, based in Las Vegas, NV, seeks a Senior Construction Estimator to lead estimating for residential projects. You will drive takeoffs, prepare various bid estimates, and analyze scope, risks, and costs to protect margins.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of construction estimating experience
• Strong knowledge of residential construction
• Proficient in estimating software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, PlanSwift, or similar)
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents at a high level
• Strong understanding of subcontractor trades and pricing structures
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail

Senior Construction Estimator

Position Overview
The Senior Construction Estimator is responsible for leading the estimating process for residential construction projects. This role plays a critical part in project planning, cost control, and overall company profitability by producing accurate, competitive, and well-analyzed estimates.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and interpret architectural, structural, civil, and MEP drawings and specifications
• Lead detailed quantity takeoffs across all CSI divisions
• Prepare conceptual, schematic, and hard bid estimates
• Analyze project scope, risks, constructability challenges, and cost-saving opportunities
• Solicit, evaluate, and level subcontractor and supplier bids
• Develop detailed scopes of work for subcontractors
• Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and leadership during preconstruction
• Maintain and update cost databases, unit pricing, and historical project data
• Identify value engineering opportunities to improve project margins
• Participate in client meetings, presentations, and bid reviews when needed
