Job Summary:

The Sales Consultant is directly responsible for assisting customers with purchases of Furniture, Mattresses, Appliances and Electronics in our 100,000 square foot showroom located at 507 Bell Fork Road, Jacksonville, NC.

Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for achieving goals/objectives.
2. Assist customer with product and store knowledge.
3. Generates quotes as they assist customer.
4. Meets with customers at each stage of the sales process to close the sale, answer questions, and provide follow-up instruction and technical assistance for all aspects of our product and service offerings.
5. Uses all available resources (Referrals, Route Leads, Phone Day, Cold Calls, etc.) and maintains an ongoing prospecting activity and system to identify and contact new prospects for expanding the prospect base within the assigned territory.
6. Utilize and update our contact relationship management (CRM) tools.

Qualifications:

1. 1-3 years of experience in sales is helpful, but it is not mandatory. A great positive attitude and willingness to learn are key.
2. Willingness to work hard and demonstrate perseverance, determination, and self-discipline.
