HP is seeking a Sales Compensation Reporting & Analytics Manager to lead a global team focused on data modeling, BI development, reporting automation, and analytics that drive effective sales compensation planning and governance.
The role translates complex compensation and performance data into actionable insights for senior Sales Compensation leadership and stakeholders, ensuring data accuracy and reporting excellence across the business.
Leads the Sales Compensation Reporting & Analytics function, responsible for delivering actionable insights, reporting solutions, and analytical support to Sales Compensation leadership and stakeholders across the business. Oversees a team focused on data modeling, business intelligence, dashboard development, reporting automation, and analytics that enable effective sales compensation planning, administration, governance, and decision-making. Acts as a strategic advisor to Sales Compensation leadership by translating complex compensation and performance data into meaningful business insights while driving data accuracy, governance, and reporting excellence.
Leads and develops a team of reporting, analytics, and business intelligence professionals. Establishes priorities, workloads, and development plans for team members. Creates a culture focused on accountability, customer service, analytical rigor, and continuous improvement. Drives adoption of best practices across reporting, data governance, and business intelligence processes.
Owns the strategy and delivery of sales compensation reporting and analytics. Provides insights into sales performance, compensation attainment, quota achievement, productivity, incentive effectiveness, and business trends. Develops executive-level reporting packages, scorecards, and performance dashboards. Partners with leadership to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and actionable recommendations.
Oversees development and maintenance of data models supporting sales compensation reporting. Partners with data engineering and technology teams to define reporting requirements and data architecture needs. Ensures scalability, consistency, and integrity of reporting solutions. Leverages enterprise data warehouse environments to create sustainable reporting frameworks.
Leads development and enhancement of Power BI dashboards and self-service reporting capabilities. Oversees ad hoc reporting requests and analytical projects. Drives automation efforts that reduce manual reporting and improve operational efficiency. Ensures reporting solutions meet business requirements and governance standards.
Serves as trusted advisor to Sales Compensation leadership, Finance, Sales Operations, and Business Leadership. Communicates analytical findings and recommendations to executive audiences. Translates technical concepts into business-relevant insights. Supports key compensation planning and transformation initiatives.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Finance, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field. Typically 8+ years of experience in reporting, analytics, business intelligence, sales operations, sales compensation, or related functions. Previous people leadership experience preferred.
Provides strategic leadership for reporting and analytics capabilities supporting global sales compensation operations. Influences senior leaders through data-driven recommendations and enables effective business decisions through scalable reporting, analytics, and insight generation.
The pay range for this role is $98,050.00 - $142,150.00 USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
