Have you ever wanted to be the Closer without having to deal with estimating or canvassing?
Ever wondered how much more you could earn if you could really put your superpower to work, focusing it only on closing warm leads?
Ever wonder how much more you could sell if you had airtight estimates with suggested add-on services, and appointments coordinated for you in advance, by highly qualified technicians with specialized know-how and equipment?
If you shout YES to those questions and you're hungry, motivated, and ready to earn what you're worth, we want you on our team.
Since our founding in 2014, we have built the third-largest chimney service company in America, generating $10M to $12M in annual revenue with a proven, profitable business model. Backed by permanent capital, we are positioned as a platform for future acquisitions and long-term national expansion.
Chimney Scientists is a full-service chimney and fireplace company based in southeastern Pennsylvania, just outside of Philadelphia; providing recession-proof services including chimney and fireplace repairs as well as inspections and cleanings. We also sell and install high-quality fireplace enhancements, such as gas inserts and wood stoves.
By deploying technological advances, we deliver eco-friendly services to protect homeowners and their families from carbon monoxide risk, water intrusion & mold, and high heating costs. These services give our sales team multiple genuine, critical problems to solve for homeowners who don’t know they even exist. This category is massively undervalued and under-marketed, and we're the company taking it over. We'll give you the tools and technical knowledge to sell necessities, not just repairs.
Check out how we work and meet some of the team!
Chimney Scientists Quality Control Process
Most homeowners have no idea they even have a chimney — the exhaust flue for their furnace, boiler, or water heater, almost never inspected by HVAC companies. Over time, the interior liner degrades. When that happens, three things can go wrong, and we've built our sales approach around helping homeowners understand and fix all of them:
1. Carbon monoxide risk. A failing liner can allow deadly, invisible CO to vent into the walls and living space instead of safely outside the home — a health and safety issue every homeowner takes seriously once they understand it.
2. Water intrusion and mold. As the masonry ages, it lets water leak in behind interior walls, leading to mold growth and structural damage that can cost tens of thousands of dollars to repair if left unaddressed.
3. Fireplace & home heating. Beyond the hidden furnace/water-heater chimney, most homes also have a traditional fireplace or wood/gas heating system needing its own inspection, cleaning, and repair — liners, dampers, masonry, and safety checks. We also repair existing fireplaces and install gas, electric, and wood-burning heating appliances that help homeowners cut their home heating costs. It's a familiar second entry point into the same home, and a natural upsell once you're already there.
We test for and solve all three — plus emergency calls for CO blockages and active leaks.
