Job summary

Colony West Golf Club, part of Troon, in Tamarac, FL, is seeking a part-time Sales Attendant to deliver friendly, efficient service and support retail operations.

You will assist guests with merchandise, process transactions at the POS, stock displays, and help with inventories while upholding safety and club standards. This role offers an opportunity to learn and grow within a global hospitality leader and to contribute to a busy, guest-focused shop.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 months related experience preferred.
• Strong communication and guest service skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests with merchandise and sales at the retail facility.
• Provide exceptional customer service and answer questions.
• Process sales transactions and handle cash accurately.
• Maintain, rotate, and stock displays; ensure pricing is correct.
• Assist with receiving, shipping, and inventory counts.
• Support safe, clean, and organized shop operations.

Colony West Golf Club, located in Tamarac, FL, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a part-time Sales Attendant. We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

General Purpose:

Assists with retail sales, merchandising and provides exceptional customer service to guests.

• Acknowledges guests upon entrance into retail facility.
• Assists the guest by selling merchandise and providing information in a professional manner.
• Assists guests by preparing any special orders requested.
• Processes and records sales transactions. Maintains accountabilities for all sales and money transactions made.
• Tags and prices items.
• Assists with the receiving and shipping.
• Assists with rotating stock, keeping displays clean and orderly and creating appealing displays.
• Ensures clothing and gift items are in the proper locations.
• Assists with the general cleaning of the shop.
• Assists with monthly/quarterly physical inventories.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as required.

Education/Experience:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Demands:

• Frequently stands and uses hands, reaches with hands and arms, talks or hears.
• Occasionally walks, sits, climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crawls or crouches.
• Regularly lifts up to 10 pounds and occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds.
• Noise level is moderate.

• None Required

Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences:

• Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g. the associates may be required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers, the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English).
• Previous experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems.
