Job summary

Shell Bay Club, part of Troon Golf, LLC, seeks a Retail Sales Associate to deliver exceptional service in the Golf and Tennis Shops. You will engage members, assist with product selection, and maintain presentation standards for a luxury retail environment.

We value outgoing, professional, and hospitable candidates with a passion for meeting member needs and creating memorable experiences. Prior luxury retail or hospitality exposure is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet and engage every member and guest entering the Golf or Tennis Shop.
• Assist members with their retail needs, product selection, sizing, special orders, and purchases.
• Develop relationships with members and learn their preferences to provide a highly personalized retail experience.
• Actively contribute to retail sales and work toward established individual and departmental sales goals.
• Maintain an exceptional appearance throughout both shops at all times.
• Ensure apparel is properly folded, hung, sized, organized, and professionally displayed.
• Keep merchandise, shelving, displays, counters, fitting areas, and the overall retail environment clean, organized, and presentation-ready.
• Assist with receiving, merchandising, restocking, inventory, and product organization.
• Move between the Golf and Tennis retail operations as business needs require.
• Work closely with the Golf, Tennis, and Club teams to provide a seamless member experience.

Shell Bay, located in Hallandale, FL, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Retail Sales Associate! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part ofTroon, you’ll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

This position will work between both the Golf Shop and Tennis Shop, providing exceptional service to our members while helping maintain the high standards of presentation and hospitality expected throughout Shell Bay.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone who is outgoing, professional, organized, dependable, and naturally hospitable. The ideal candidate enjoys interacting with people, takes pride in presentation and details, and understands that luxury retail is about much more than completing a transaction- it is about creating relationships and memorable member experiences.

Previous experience in retail sales, luxury retail, golf, tennis, hospitality, or private clubs is preferred. Knowledge of golf or tennis merchandise is beneficial but not required for the right candidate.

Hourly compensation is expected to range from $20-$25 per hour, depending upon experience and qualifications.

In addition, the position will offer the opportunity to earn sales commissions/incentives based on achieving established sales quotas and performance goals, creating the potential for additional compensation for strong performers.
