POSITION OBJECTIVE:

The Sales Associate is responsible for supporting Management in promoting a customer and product-focused sales culture, ensuring a great customer experience and maximum profitability. We love what we do and believe that our team is the most amazing place to work, learn, and grow!

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Drive for Results

• Meet sales goals by utilizing sales techniques and product knowledge; assist customers in locating merchandise based on their needs.
• Maintain knowledge of current sales, promotions, and store standards.
• Handle merchandise presentation, loss prevention, and visual directives including store sets and zone maintenance.

Customer Experience

• Model and promote the MAPS principles, offering a cohesive omni-channel experience.
• Resolve customer concerns promptly.
• Ensure efficient checkout processes, including policies on payments, returns, and exchanges.
• Encourage buying decisions at checkout, including gift card sales.
• Sign up clients for reward programs and build customer loyalty through clienteling.
• Stay informed about current product fit and style offerings.

Operational Excellence

• Support replenishment activities to keep the store stocked.
• Assist with visual displays, floor sets, window changes, signage, and store organization.

Teamwork and Growth

• Promote an inclusive, collaborative environment.
• Seek personal development opportunities and feedback.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Retail or sales experience preferred.
• Must be 18 or older.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to learn new technology.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
• Reliable attendance and flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

• Constant walking/standing for 67-100% of shift.
• Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Frequent climbing (34-66% of shift).
