POSITION OBJECTIVE :

The Sales Associate supports management in promoting a customer and product-focused sales culture, ensuring a great customer experience and maximizing profitability. We love what we do and believe our team is the most amazing place to work, learn, and grow!

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES :

Drive for Results

  • Meet sales goals using effective sales techniques and product knowledge; assist customers in merchandise selection based on their needs.
  • Stay informed about current sales, promotions, pricing, and visual standards.
  • Maintain standards in merchandise handling, presentation, loss prevention, and other duties as directed.
  • Participate in visual directives including store sets and zone maintenance.

Customer Experience

  • Model and promote the MAPS principles, offering a seamless omni-channel experience.
  • Resolve customer concerns promptly.
  • Ensure efficient checkout processes, staying updated on policies regarding payments, returns, and security.
  • Encourage additional sales at checkout, including gift cards.
  • Register clients for the reward program.
  • Build a customer following through clienteling and wardrobing.
  • Stay knowledgeable about current product fit and style offerings online and in-store.
  • Maintain consistent communication with clients via a customer book.

Operational Excellence

  • Support replenishment activities to keep the store well-stocked.
  • Assist with locate fulfillment and visual displays, including floor sets and signage.
  • Help maintain store cleanliness and organization.

Teamwork and Growth

  • Promote an inclusive, collaborative problem-solving approach.
  • Seek personal development opportunities and feedback.

Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS :

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Retail or sales experience preferred
  • Must be 18 or older
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Adaptability to company technology
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective communication with customers, colleagues, and management
  • Regular attendance and flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :

  • Constant walking/standing during 67-100% of shift
  • Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. during 1-33% of shift
  • Frequent climbing during 34-66% of shift
