Overview

Sales Associates are to greet and thank every customer who enters and leaves the store. They must be knowledgeable of all product lines and responsible for keeping the store neat, clean, and merchandise properly displayed. Sales staff will support management in completing price changes, leveling, display resets, and maintaining all basic visual standards to ensure a neat and inviting store environment.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Support the "Cavender's Culture" and promote our Mission, Vision, and Values
• Provide friendly, courteous customer service using professional and knowledgeable selling techniques
• Avoid high-pressure sales tactics
• Maximize selling opportunities with each customer
• Stay informed about the latest fashion trends in western wear
• Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work area
• Understand and adhere to CBC policies and procedures
• Stay updated on sale promotions and pricing
• Assist with stocking merchandise and store organization
• Report to work promptly and maintain neat grooming standards
• Remain security conscious at all times
• Ensure products are correctly signed, displayed, and in their proper areas, especially in the boot department
• Assist customers with product returns and exchanges
• Respond knowledgeably to customer inquiries about fit, promotions, prices, and product quality
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Collaborate with supervisors to understand actions needed to meet company goals (e.g., ADS, UPTs, contests)

Qualifications And Requirements

• Ability to regularly lift or lower objects during shifts
• Basic comprehension of instructions and documents
