Job summary

Von Maur, Inc. is seeking a Shoe Sales Associate in Overland Park, KS. You will greet customers, share product knowledge, and help them find the right shoes while ensuring a memorable shopping experience.

You will build relationships, strive to meet and exceed sales goals, and operate the POS system efficiently. A strong team player attitude and willingness to work varied shifts are essential to success.

Qualifications

• Prior customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to meet individual sales goals and contribute to team targets.

Responsibilities

• Own the customer experience from greeting to transaction and follow-up.
• Develop relationships to grow the business and drive repeat visits.
• Achieve individual sales targets and demonstrate product knowledge to customers.
• Ring POS transactions and manage key account information.
• Assist customers with sizing, fitting, and selecting shoes.
• Keep the department organized, clean, and well-stocked.
• Work day, evening, and weekend shifts as needed.

• Ring POS transactions and key account information
• Assist customers with sizing, fitting and trying on shoes
• Maintain a visually appealing and clean department, and shoe stock room
• Be available to work day, evening, and weekend shifts
