Job summary

Hard Rock Casino Northern Indiana is seeking a Retail Associate responsible for marketing merchandise to guests and stocking the retail area. You will handle cash/credit transactions and maintain up-to-date knowledge of casino policies and procedures.

You will ensure guest satisfaction through clear communication, assist guests, and help maintain a clean, safe work environment. Prior gaming industry experience is strongly preferred and licenses per the Indiana Gaming Commission must be obtained.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Cashiering/money handling experience in fast-paced environment.
• Must obtain and maintain licenses/certifications per Indiana Gaming Commission.
• Prior gaming industry experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Markets retail merchandise to guests.
• Stock and re-stock the Retail area to ensure an adequate inventory of all goods.
• Perform cash and/or credit transactions with guests.
• Maintains current knowledge of rules, regulations, policies, and procedures-including precheck and cashiering procedures.
• Ensures guest satisfaction with effective communication, customer assistance, direction, and information provided within company policies and guidelines.
• Promotes positive public/employee relations at all times.
• Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.
• Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned

Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

This individual is responsible for marketing Retail merchandise to guests and stocking the retail area.

Essential Functions

• Markets retail merchandise to guests.

Education And /Or Experience Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent required. Cashiering/money handling experience in making accurate change in a fast-paced environment or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: (Licenses, Certifications, Testing, etc.)

• Must obtain and maintain all licenses / certifications per Federal, State, and Indiana Gaming Commission.
• Must successfully pass background check.
• Must successfully pass drug screening.
• Must be twenty-one (21) years of age.
• Must be able to work holidays and weekends, as well as flexible shifts and/or unusual hours.
• Prior experience in the Gaming industry strongly required.

Knowledge Of

• Pertinent federal, state, and local laws, codes, and regulations.
• Hard Rock operations.
