POSITION SUMMARY: The Sales Associate - Retail is the ultimate guide through the guests’ shopping experience. Hard Rock merchandise is a unique part of our business, which requires a special person to create the experience. As a Retail Associate, you will be assuming the role of tour guide, communicator, entertainer, memorabilia curator, and musician (at heart).

Responsibilities:

1. Greeting guests.
2. Answering questions accurately and politely.
3. Answering the phone.
4. Making proficient sales transactions using a point-of-sale system.
5. Handling cash and other forms of payment.
6. Maintaining proper cash drawer balances.
7. Directing guests to areas/restrooms.
8. Demonstrating impeccable product knowledge.
9. Determining guests’ needs through active engagement and informing them of product features & benefits.
10. Suggestive selling using proven techniques.
11. Maintaining a clean and organized store.
12. Maintaining proper product stock levels through retail pulls & inventories.
13. Displaying retail products through visual standards.
14. Performing opening, closing & side duties (cleaning, polishing, sweeping, folding).
15. Ensuring guest satisfaction and creating memorable experiences.
16. Entertaining guests to create “Raving Fans.”

Knowledge Of:

• Basic mathematical skills.
