Ace Hardware in Huntington Beach is seeking a personable Sales Associate who embodies our core values and delivers customer-first service in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will stay informed on promotions, assist with shipments, keep the back room organized, and grow product knowledge across DIY, electrical, plumbing, tools, paint, and hardware. Flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or currently in school.
• Willing to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of DIY projects, electrical, plumbing, tools, paint and hardware a plus.

Responsabilités

• Maintain awareness of promotions and advertisements for customers.

Job Description – Sales Associate

• Maintain awareness of all promotions and advertisements and provide this information to customers.
• Execute the daily operational goals and priorities assigned by store management.
• Continually work on increasing knowledge of the products we sell and their uses
• Merchandising skills and abilities.
• Participate in the processing of new shipments and help the team to keep the receiving and back room areas clean and organized.

Education/Training:

High School diploma or GED equivalent or currently in school.

Skills/Knowledge:

Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays to meet the needs of the business.

Knowledge of DIY projects, electrical. plumbing, tools , paint and hardware a plus.

Salary based on experience: 17.00-17.50/hr
