Job summary

Yreka Ace Hardware is hiring a Sales Associate to provide excellent customer service and assist with product knowledge across DIY, electrical, plumbing, tools, and paint. The role emphasizes a customer-first mindset and a positive, supportive sales approach.

Weekend availability is required to meet store needs, with a compensation range of $17.40–$17.90 per hour depending on experience. High School diploma or GED is preferred, with growing product knowledge through hands-on training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED completed or in progress.
• Knowledge of DIY projects and home improvement basics.
• Willingness to learn product uses and explain them to customers.

Responsibilities

• Process new shipments and help keep receiving and back room organized.
• Execute daily store goals and priorities set by management.
• Continuously expand knowledge of products and their uses for customers.
• Be available to work weekends as needed.

Job Description – Sales associate

• Participate in the processing of new shipments and help the team to keep the receiving and back room areas clean and organized.
• Execute the daily operational goals and priorities assigned by store management.

• Ready to work weekends
• Is Reliable

Education/Training:

High School diploma or GED equivalent or currently in school.

Skills/Knowledge:

Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays to meet the needs of the business.

Knowledge of DIY projects, electrical. plumbing, tools , paint and hardware a plus.
Salary: $17.40 to $17.90 depending on experience
