Job summary

Goodwill Central Coast is seeking a Store Associate to greet donors and customers, assist with product selections, and handle cash transactions at the point of sale. The role involves opening/closing procedures, shelf replenishment, and maintaining a neat store and donation area.

Primary duties include processing donations, rotating stock, and communicating any issues to the Store Manager, while performing a variety of related tasks in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet donors and customers entering the store or donation site.

JOB SUMMARY: Perform related duties supporting the operation of retail store locations. Serve donors and customers in various ways, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment. Provide outstanding customer service to promote store sales and achieve store goals.ESSENTIAL DUTIESGreet donors and customers when they enter the store location and/or attached donation site. Offer assistance and suggestions to customers when making product selections.Become trained in cash handling and using the store cash register system. Utilize training to complete customer transactions accurately while following all related procedures.Assist with store opening/closing procedures.Merchandise inventory on the sales floor, following defined procedures.
