Job description

Role Objective

The Sales Associate works to achieve store sales goals by creating an authentic, welcoming experience aligned with Alo's Brand Mission. They provide genuine connection, product education, and promote our community and culture. The individual is knowledgeable about all product facets, including features, benefits, fabric, design, and care. They thrive in a team environment and value feedback and excellence.

Key Job Responsibilities
  1. Contribute positively to the business and store environment in alignment with leadership and company goals.
  2. Drive and surpass sales goals through Alo’s Flow initiatives, optimizing productivity.
  3. Engage with customers to create a friendly shopping environment.
  4. Build and maintain client relationships daily.
  5. Analyze reports with leadership to strategize and achieve results, focusing on growth opportunities.
  6. Ensure effective sales floor coverage and lead selling initiatives.
  7. Stay informed about store goals, initiatives, new products, and communicate these to staff and guests.
  8. Introduce all facets of the Alo business model confidently through personal testimony and knowledge.
  9. Use company tools and strategies to support store goals.
  10. Address client needs promptly to ensure satisfaction.
  11. Educate guests and staff about our product, community, and culture.
  12. Prioritize daily schedules in partnership with leadership for optimal business results.
  13. Assist with shipment processing, visual merchandising, and product replenishment.
  14. Execute all front and back of house procedures per company policies.
  15. Maintain constant movement within the store, performing tasks to keep the store clean, safe, and inviting.
Qualifications
  • At least 1+ years of experience in a client-focused sales environment preferred.
  • Passion for customer service and creating exceptional experiences.
  • Alignment with Alo’s Guiding Principles.
  • Self-motivated with results-driven attitude.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including bending, climbing, and standing for long periods.
Schedule

Part-Time associates may work up to 30 hours/week with a minimum of 4 hours per shift. Full-Time associates should have open availability, 7 days a week, 32-40 hours. All employees must be available during the holiday season, including Black Friday and the week of Thanksgiving through early January.
