Reports To : Captain (Store Manager) / First Mate (Assistant Manager) / Second Mate (Management Trainee)
Overview :
Responsible for assisting the management team (Captain, First Mates, and Second Mates) in driving sales through exceptional customer service. Ensures the customer experience aligns with our brand promise, "Every Day Should Feel This Good," and prioritizes service excellence.
Functions & Responsibilities :
- Generate Sales
- Meet sales goals and measures
- Develop and maintain relationships with top customers
- Support in-store event sourcing and execution
- Customer Experience
- Ensure the store reflects Shep & Ian's vision of "Every Day Should Feel This Good" through "Hosting the Party"
- Lead efforts in email capture and educate new associates on best practices
- Keep customer wish lists current and notify customers when products arrive
- Crew Development
- Assist with training new associates
- Foster a welcoming, fun, and energetic environment for both crew and customers
- Support recruitment and referral of top talent
- Participate in store and team-building activities with management
- Operations
- Maintain merchandise controls and loss prevention awareness
- Help keep the store environment clean and organized
- Merchandising
- Assist in maintaining merchandising standards per company guidelines and brand initiatives
- Provide weekly product feedback

Additional physical requirements include the ability to :
- Stand and move for extended periods
- Reach, carry, bend, and climb ladders occasionally

Hourly Rate Range : $17.29 - $18.50 / hour
