General Function

As a Sales Associate, you are the key link in ensuring customers have a rewarding experience that enhances their sport performance. The role involves demonstrating excellent customer service, meeting sales and service goals, providing product knowledge, and working as part of a team to meet individual and store objectives.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

• Consistently achieve sales targets and company objectives by cultivating existing customer relationships and building new ones.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience through personalized service, attention to detail, and offering solutions that ensure customer satisfaction.
• Participate actively in creating a positive store environment, fostering strong relationships with peers, management, opticians, and support staff.
• Maintain the store’s appearance, ensure displays and inventory are clean, attractive, and organized, and secure company assets.
• Contribute to an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect.

Basic Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 1 year of retail or customer service experience
• Familiarity with point of sale systems, computers, calculators, and basic math skills
• Willingness to embrace new technology and adapt to change with high accuracy
• Strong sales skills with a goal-oriented mindset
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
• Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task and adapt quickly in a changing environment
