Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent
• Ability to operate POS/Cash Register
• Must pass background check, including Criminal History and Sex Offender Registry
• Effective communication skills with management, employees, customers, and donors

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist
• Ability to grasp, push, pull objects like carts, fixtures, and furniture
• Ability to operate a telephone
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Perform repetitive motion tasks

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Greet and assist customers and donors promptly and courteously
2. Stock items for sale according to Salvation Army standards
3. Sort donations in accordance with standards
4. Maintain store cleanliness and organization, including cleaning windows, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and cleaning bathrooms, fitting rooms, and donation areas
5. Follow POS/Cash Register policies
6. Report hazards and maintain safety standards
7. Adhere to HR policies and attend monthly meetings
8. Follow dress code policies
9. Work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
10. Unload, stock, and inspect incoming inventory
11. Assist donors with donations and provide receipts
12. Sort and stack donated items properly
13. Perform other duties as assigned by management
