POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Sales Associate / Material Handler, your responsibilities include:

• Greeting customers and donors warmly, providing prompt and courteous assistance.
• Stocking items for sale on the floor.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the store and donation areas.
• Following POS/Cash Register policies per TSA procedures.
• Ensuring safety and compliance standards are met.
• Attending monthly store meetings.
• Receiving, unloading, and stocking inventory accurately.
• Inspecting products for defects and damages.
• Assisting donors with donation removal and issuing receipts.
• Sorting and stacking donations properly.
• Performing additional duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to operate POS/cash registers accurately.
• Must pass background checks, including criminal and sex offender registry.
• Effective communication skills with management, colleagues, customers, and donors.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist regularly.
• Ability to grasp, push, pull objects like carts, racks, and furniture.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Repetitive motion tasks.
• Ability to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodations.

PAY AND SCHEDULE

Pay Rate: $16.50/hour

Schedule: Our stores operate 7 days a week. Schedules are determined by management, and flexibility is required to ensure coverage. Part-time shifts may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
