General Function

The Sales Associate ensures every customer and patient has the best experience at LensCrafters, establishing the store as the premier destination for all vision needs in your community.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

1. Deliver sales goals and company objectives by cultivating existing customer relationships and building new ones.
2. Use optical prescriptions to recommend specific lenses and coatings.
3. Assist patients in selecting frames, coordinating with optical measurements to help them find the perfect vision solution.
4. Conduct measurements with appropriate optical tools and consult with an Optician as needed.
5. Contribute to a positive store environment, fostering professional relationships with peers, management, doctors, and support staff.
6. Maintain the store's appearance, keeping displays and inventory clean, attractive, and organized.
7. Promote an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect.

Basic Qualifications

1. High School Diploma or GED
2. At least 1 year of experience in retail or customer service
3. Familiarity with point of sale systems, computers, calculators, and basic math skills
4. Ability to embrace new technology and adapt to change with high accuracy
5. Strong sales skills and accountability for meeting sales goals
6. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
7. Self-motivated with the ability to multitask and respond flexibly in a fast-changing environment
