GENERAL FUNCTION

The Sales Associate sets the standard of quality in eye care and eyewear by ensuring every patient and customer has the best experience every time. The role helps establish LensCrafters as the premier destination for all vision needs in your community.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

• Consistently deliver sales and meet company objectives by cultivating existing customer relationships and building new ones.
• Utilize optical prescriptions to recommend lenses and coatings.
• Assist patients in selecting frames, taking measurements, and coordinating with optical staff to ensure optimal vision solutions.
• Conduct measurements using appropriate optical tools and consult with Opticians as needed.
• Contribute to a positive store environment, fostering professional relationships with peers, management, doctors, and support staff.
• Maintain the store’s appearance, keeping displays and inventory clean, attractive, and organized.
• Promote an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect.

Basic Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1+ years of retail or customer service experience
• Familiarity with POS systems, computers, calculators, and basic math skills
• Embrace new technology and adapt to change with high accuracy
• Strong sales skills and accountability for results
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
• Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task and respond flexibly in a fast-changing environment
