GENERAL FUNCTION

The Sales Associate sets the standard of quality in eye care and eyewear by ensuring every patient and customer has the best experience at LensCrafters every time. This role helps establish LensCrafters as the premier destination for all vision needs in your community.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Consistently deliver sales goals and company objectives by cultivating existing customer relationships and building new ones.
• Use optical prescriptions to recommend specific lenses and coatings.
• Assist patients in selecting frames and coordinate with optical measurements to help customers find the perfect vision solution.
• Conduct measurements using appropriate optical tools and consult with an Optician as needed.
• Contribute to a positive store environment by fostering strong, professional relationships with peers, management, doctors, and support staff.
• Maintain the store's appearance, ensuring displays and inventory are clean, attractive, and organized.
• Promote an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 1 year of experience in retail or customer service
• Familiarity with point of sale systems, computers, calculators, and basic math skills
• Comfort with embracing new technology and adapting to change with high accuracy
• Strong sales skills and accountability for sales results, with a goal-oriented mindset
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task and respond flexibly in a fast-changing environment
