GENERAL FUNCTION

The Sales Associate sets the standard of quality in eye care and eyewear by ensuring every patient and customer has the best experience. The role helps establish LensCrafters as the premier destination for all vision needs in your community.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

1. Deliver sales plan and objectives by cultivating existing customer relationships and building new ones.
2. Utilize optical prescriptions to recommend lenses and coatings.
3. Assist patients in selecting frames, taking measurements, and coordinating with optical measurements.
4. Conduct measurements with optical tools and consult with Opticians as needed.
5. Contribute to a positive store environment, fostering relationships with peers, management, doctors, and support staff.
6. Maintain store appearance, keeping displays and inventory organized and attractive.
7. Foster an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect.

Basic Qualifications

1. High School Diploma or GED
2. 1+ years experience in retail or customer service
3. Familiarity with POS systems, computers, and calculators
4. Embrace new technology with high accuracy
5. Ability to sell and meet sales goals
6. Strong communication skills (oral and written)
7. Self-motivated with multi-tasking ability and adaptability
